Opening times

Our normal opening hours are Sunday - Wednesday, 11am - 4pm (last admission 3pm). We may open on other days of week during special event weekends.

All of our tickets are now Annual Passes - please Gift Aid if you can.

Concessions (NHS staff and students in full time education): £8.00

Family (Up to 2 adults and 3 children): £22.00

Accompanying carers and Historic Houses members: Free entry

Pre-booked groups of 12 or more: £8.50 p.p.

Facilities

  • Toilets are available in the Old Cyder House (please note there are no toilets in the main house).

  • Our shop in Dr Jenner’s Breakfast Room is full of souvenirs, gifts and inspiring books. Don’t forget you can also browse our shop online.

  • You are welcome to enjoy a picnic, or a takeaway drink and snack from one of the local cafes, anywhere in the garden. Seating is limited, you may wish to bring a blanket.

  • Well-behaved dogs on short leads can visit the Museum and garden. Water is available.

    Working guidance and assistance animals are welcome in all buildings (please see below for more information).

  • Dr Jenner’s House is a great place to bring your group. We offer a 10% discount on admission for groups of 10 or more.

    If you wish to bring a group please contact us in advance to book, and for more information including catering and talk options.

Access

Step-free access to garden and ground floor of museum only. An access folder contains details of first floor displays. Accessible toilet on site.

Working guide and assistance animals are welcome in all buildings. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome in the Museum and Gardens.
